ONSITE SECRETARIAT AND REGISTRATION DESK
The Secretariat desk will be open during the following hours:

September 20 →  07.30 – 14.00 and 17.00-19.00
September 21 →  07.30 – 18.30
September 22 →  07.30 – 18.30
September 23 →  07.30 – 14.00
Timings are preliminary and subject to changes.

BADGE
Please note that once you’ll arrive at the conference venue you will be asked to show your virtual badge, which is available in the conference web-app.

All poster/speech presenter that already made Login in, just need to check badge code in their Profile

Make sure to follow the instructions and save your credentials on your mobile phone to make a quick check-in once you arrive onsite.

ADMISSION
Participants are kindly requested to wear their badge during all Congress activities to be admitted to the scientific sessions and all the areas of the Congress.

CLOAKROOM
A cloakroom is at participants’ disposal in the Congress Venue. The opening hours will be the same of the Secretariat ones.

E-POSTER SESSION
All WCIMH posters can be viewed by delegates at any time at the various poster stations during the Congress days. Flash talks will be given by each of the Posters’ Presenters

LANGUAGE
The official language of the Congress is English. Simultaneous translation will be provided only in the Plenary Room (Maior Room)

LUNCHES
Congress admitted participants are entitled to receive a box lunch free of charge on September 21 and 22. Box lunches are served upon presentation of the related daily coupon, that each delegate receives along with the badge.

WI-FI
All meeting areas are covered by free Wi-Fi connection, throughout the duration of the Congress.

CERTIFICATES
Certificates of attendance will be sent by email  after the Congress.

NO-SMOKING
Smoking in the Congress  area is not allowed.

MOBILE PHONES
Delegates are kindly requested to set their mobile phones on silent mode in the Rooms where scientific sessions are being held.

TRAVEL / VISA INFORMATION
Italy is one of the countries of the so called Schengen Area. Participants are requested to familiarize themselves with their own applicable visa requirements well in advance of the Congress. Present worldwide security regulations result in generally in more stringent visa requirements and associated visa processing time. All important information and application for visa forms can be found on the dedicated webpage of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where a guided procedure will help you decide if you need to apply for a visa based on your nationality, country of residence, reasons for your visit and length of stay. If you need a visa for Italy, you will be provided with all the information and forms needed to submit your application.

WCIMH 2023 organizers will not intervene with Embassies or Consulates on behalf of any participant and her/his possible accompanying persons.

PROGRAMME CHANGES
The organizers cannot assume liability for any changes in the program due to external or unforeseen circumstances. Please check the website for regular updates. The organizers reserve the right to cancel, postpone, relocate, or change any of the sessions or to add new sessions.
